Disclosure of status – Mr Friendly can help. (1 hour)
Intended as a discussion topic for people living with HIV. The group first discusses how stigma affects disclosure of status in a variety of settings, then works out how to best approach each situation. Mr Friendly is introduced as a discussion tool to aid in disclosure of status.
Unprotected Sex –Reducing Risk (1 hour)
Intended for anyone that discusses unprotected sex – with clients, friends family etc… The lesson plan approaches sex between two presumed negative people, then between a poz/neg couple and then between two people living with HIV. This is not a class on promoting unprotected sex, but intended to deal with the reality that some people choose not to use condoms. Mr Friendly believes that open, honest and educated discussions fight stigma of HIV.
